Description

ciprofloxacin is a fluorinated 4 quinolone antimicrobial agent.its antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of norfloxacin,but it has greater activity against most bacterial species.ciprofloxacin represents important therapeutic advancement for broad specturm antimicrobial activity and are effective after oral administration.

Indication 

urinary tract infections,respiratory tract infections,uro-genital tract infections,bone and joint infections,skin and skin stucture infections,systemic infections.

Side effects 

ciprofloxcin is genarally well tolerated.the most frequently reported advice reactions are nausea,abdominal pain,dyspepsia,diarrhoea,vomiting and rash.

Containdications

ciprofloxacin is contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to it,quinolone antibiotics,or any other components of this product.
