Description

tenaloc is a b1 selective adrenergic receptor antagonist.it competitively blocks b1 receptor antagonist and thus as an
antihypertensive medication.it has no effect on b2 receptors.atenolol significantly reduces both maximal and submaximal exercise heart rates.

INDICATIONS

Tenaloc is indicated in hypertension,angina pectoris myocardial infarction and cardiac arrhythmias.

SIDE EFFECTS

Side effects of atenolol are mild and transient.commonest of these are cold extremities,gastrointestinal discomfort,skin rash and reduced heart beat etc.
